Unknown VAT tax code in D406

How it shows in our report

SAFT-TAX-01 · TaxTable/TaxCode 319999

What it means

The VAT TaxCode (TaxType 300) must be a 6-digit code from the ANAF nomenclature (e.g. 310344 = supplies at 21%; supplies start with 310, purchases with 300–309 or 320–399, journal-only items with 380).

Why it matters

ANAF uses D406 for risk analysis and compares it with the VAT return (D300) and D394. Mismatches like this do not block filing, but can lead to compliance letters or requests for clarification.

Common causes
